Infrastructure and utilities consultancy services for any development project.

Having worked on many large development projects, we have gained considerable experience in managing utilities and infrastructure provision. This includes managing and cost planning the construction of electricity substations, installing high-performance heating and ventilation systems and managing public realm works – from landscaped gardens to car parks.

On large regeneration sites we manage and cost plan the construction of access roads, and work with specialists to complete all infrastructure – including telecoms, utilities connections and water supplies. We have also consulted on the development of council car parks, and created roundabouts to provide access into retail parks and other new developments.

Project In Focus

High Performance Computing, University of Leeds

Project Summary:

The University of Leeds wanted to provide academic and industry researchers with access to a high-performance computing (HPC) facility, alongside support and expertise, on a scale that had not previously been readily available in the North.

The HPC resource consists of several clusters which are used for all forms of predictive modelling, data analysis and simulation that are too large, too complex or too time-consuming to be performed on a desktop PC.

The university also wanted to reduce energy consumption and decided to replace its existing low-density cooling system with high-density technology that would significantly reduce energy costs.

Aspect 4 was appointed as project manager under an NEC form of contract to manage all aspects of the project delivery, from inception to completion, on behalf of the university and various stakeholders.
