Tesco Express, York

Project Summary:

When Tesco Express took on a lease in an existing retail unit owned by Town Centre Securities PLC in Goodramgate, York, Aspect 4 was appointed to manage the project.

The Aspect 4 team have considerable experience in project managing Tesco Express stores throughout the country. The works in York involved stripping out and extending the existing unit and liaising closely with Tesco and its professional team to manage the delivery programme. This included construction works, the provision of new incoming utilities, and ensuring the building was completed on time, on quality and on budget.

The finished building is a welcome addition to Goodramgate, bringing new jobs to the area and enhancing the retail offer. It’s in an ideal location for office workers who want to pop in for a sandwich or for a few items on their way home, increasing pedestrian traffic and benefiting other nearby businesses.
