It’s our people that make Aspect 4 different. Led by our two founding directors, we pride ourselves on building client relationships based on honesty, openness and trust.

We are approachable, easy to talk to and enthusiastic about the work we carry out and the support we offer to every client – whether a multinational commercial enterprise or an individual property owner or tenant.

We enjoy working directly with people and helping them to achieve their goals in the most effective and straightforward way. The relationships we forge with our clients and fellow consultants are the lifeblood of our business, and the reason so many clients return to us time and again for our expertise and diligence.

Matthew Gration

Managing Director

Matthew qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2000 while working at a private multi-disciplinary practice covering the South East and London. In 2002, he moved back to his home town of York and started working for a national consultancy in Leeds, where he stayed for nearly eight years. Having delivered many successful projects across various sectors and built up a reputable client base, he left to set up Aspect 4 in 2009. He was soon joined by former colleague Nigel as co-director and shareholder.

Nigel Foster
MRICS

Director

After leaving school, Nigel worked in private practice for several national consultancies, and attained Chartered Quantity Surveyor status in 1998. He worked with Matthew for more than eight years at a large multi-disciplinary consultancy in Leeds, before leaving in 2009 to become a director and shareholder of Aspect 4.
